A writer & her adolescent muse

Throughout the month of April, I am taking part of the annual Ekphrastic Challenge over on The Wombwell Rainbow – hosted by Paul Brooks.

This Challenge is a collaboration between three artists and nearly a dozen writers including myself.

April 10th

Artist John Phandal Law

Beyond repair
There’s no turning back
The clock
Time waits for no one
From birth to childhood
Confidence, dreams
Adulthood to old age
Reality, reflection
What began as whole
Broken to pieces
Only to reform
Into new shapes
Of hope
For a better tomorrow
